Once everybody has had a couple of weeks to shake off their New Year’s hangover, Ultimate Bet Poker will be running their biggest online poker event yet. Starting on January 16th, UB will run their sixth Ultimate Bet Online Championship (UBOC) series. UBOC6 will offer 29 different poker games, and pay out $5 million in guaranteed prize money.

As mentioned before, UBOC6 kicks off on the 16th, and a $530 buy-in poker tournament with a $250,000 prize pool will run on this date. Other highlights of UBOC6 include the following:

- January 19th offers a $250,000 6-max holdem poker event with a $530 buy-in.
- January 23rd will have a $750,000 high roller tournament where the buy-in is $2,100.
- January 30th is when the UBOC6 Championship takes place; this event offers a $1 million prize pool, and the buy-in is $1,050.

None of the UBOC6 tournaments offer any less than $50,000, and most of them offer prize pools worth at least $100,000. Of course, the buy-ins are pretty steep for most of the events with the cheapest ones being $162. Luckily, Ultimate Bet is currently running satellites and free poker tournaments for people who wish to qualify for UBOC6 tournaments. In addition to this, UB is taking a page from Full Tilt Poker by offering a Mini UBOC6 event.

The Mini UBOC will run at the same time as the regular UBOC, and the Mini tournaments will mirror the 29 UBOC6 tourneys. More importantly, the buy-ins are much cheaper with some tournaments costing just $11 to enter.

You’ve got less than a month to get into the UBOC6 tournaments, so you should download the UB poker software as soon as possible. Also, make sure that you sign up for their 30% rakeback offer whenever you start playing at Ultimate Bet.
