Do you feel left out of Ultimate Bet Poker’s UBOC6 because you don’t have several hundred dollars for the tournament buy-ins? Well don’t get down on yourself because the Mini-UBOC is right around the corner, which means you’ll be able to play poker for huge prize pools at a fraction of the cost. And to top it all off, you’ll be able to cash in on Ultimate Bet’s huge 30% rakeback deals too!
In all, the Mini-UBOC will run 29 tournaments with $350,000 in guaranteed prize money on the table. And everything culminates with the $50,000 Championship Monster Stack event, which only costs $55 to enter.
Of course first thing’s first, and in the case of Mini-UBOC, the first event happens on January 16th with the $25,000 NLH Deep Stack tournament ($55 buy-in). Other big events include the January 16th $20,000 Sniper NLH Deep Stack tourney ($33 buy-in with $5 rebuys), and the January 19th $25,000 NLH Deep Stack 6-max tournament ($55 buy-in). Some of the cheaper Mini-UBOC tourneys you can play in include the January 26th $5,000 Unlimited Rebuys tournament ($11 buy-in), and the January 29th $10,000 NLH Turbo Unlimited Rebuys event.
If you have dreams of playing for even bigger money in UBOC6, there are still satellites and qualifiers running for these tournaments. UBOC6 mirrors the Mini-UBOC6, so you can always use the Mini-UBOC as a fallback if you can’t afford a UBOC6 event.
Of course, anybody can afford the qualifiers for UBOC6 events since satellites and free poker tournaments as low as $3 are currently running at Ultimate Bet. The tournament you’ll really want to qualify for is the $1 million Main Event hosted by Prahlad Friedman. Normally this tournament is $1,050 to enter, but you could get in much cheaper through a satellite.
